Really important...appearance.
I believe, man or woman.... you should spend at least $50 on a haircut.
I mean it! You can always tell when someone has a bad haircut and it can and unfortunately can be a 'grave' first impression when meeting with a client or prospective client.
Get a referral from a friend or research on the internet to see what are the best salons in your area to go to for an image consultation.
A qualified professional will know what type of hairstyle suits you best for your body type and face shape. Guys...times have changed! As well they'll keep your look up to date and reflective of your lifestyle and personality.
For men, I would look for a hairstylist (not a barber) that you feel comfortable with and let them do your hair regularly--as oppossed to moving around to different salons.
They'll get to understand your hair grooming needs.
Stay away from budget cuts--down the street.
Look for a high-end salon-spa in the city. Trust me. You'll thank me!
