
Thursday:
Afternoon: Arrival and Orientation
6 pm: Dinner at the Edge
8 pm: “Break the Ice” with fireside initiatives, and hot apple cider presented in the Lodge and Points North.
Friday:
8 am: Breakfast
9 am: “Snow-Quest” solve puzzles, follow clues, complete team challenges and participate in Outdoor adventure by snoe shoeing, kick sledding, and Nordic skiing as you find your way to a remote lunch site.
1 pm: Trail Lunch among the Hemlock
2 – 4 pm: Unstructured Time: Arrange some hands-on time with one of our therapists, curl up with a favorite book, try your hand at watercolor painting, head out for a round of “Ice golf” on Kawawaymog Lake or visit informally in Points North.
5 pm: Dinner
7 pm: “Lace ‘em up” for Olde-time Canadian Hockey. It’s the Montreal Canadiens vs. Toronto Maple Leafs, under the stars on our torch-lit skating rink.
9 pm: Share in a Canadian tradition recounting the hockey highlights around the “Hot Stove” while enjoying cheese and crackers and sampling a variety of micro-brewed Canadian beer and Ontario Wines.
Saturday:
8 am: Breakfast
9 am – 4 pm: A full day “Dog-sled excursion” in Algonquin Park mushing your own team of Alaskan sled dogs. Lunch served up over an open fire at a remote camp, with a late afternoon return to the lodge. Take time for more hands-on therapy before or after dinner.
6 pm: Dinner
8 pm: A short excursion across the lake ends with a “Hot Sauna”. Who is dare enough to drop through the ice on a chilly winter night. You might be surprised.
Sunday:
8 am: Continental Breakfast
10:30 am: Brunch served in the lodge, with a heaping supply of exaggerated story-telling and awards.
Noon: Departure
