Nestled in the centre of the cove of Morbihan, known for its spectacular beauty, Gravinis is the only of 30 neighbouring islands (mostly smaller in size) which offers views to the Atlantic Ocean through the opening in the bay. Despite the changing tides, Gravinis is constantly surrounded by water and can be reached anytime during the day by boat (three wharves - each accessed according to wind direction from both sides of the island. The owner family invested substantially in a costly pier with harbour basin surrounded by mooring walls which act as protection for the boat during storms or long periods of absence. The oyster banks at the west coast of the island act as signs of the clarity of the Atlantic waters. Fishing is also excellent around the island.
