Corporate Retreats and Luxury Business Travel

Yesterday, you learned the best U.S. airports according the surveyors of Conde Nast Traveler’s Business Travel Awards. Today, you’ll be finding out the best international airport. And I’ll give you a hint. It’s not what you think. No London or Paris. In fact, neither made the list. Think a bit more exotic.

I mentioned a few days ago, that the U.S. hotel chains scored dramatically lower than the international hotel chains. Well, the trend is continuing. Yesterday’s winner of the best U.S. airport was Portland, Oregon with 48.6%. Today’s winner scored almost double that. Yes, that’s how much our airports are in need of transformation. Also, if you’ve never traveled internationally, apparently, the airports are worth the trip alone.

And the winner goes to……

Singapore’s Changi Airport. It also took first place in all individual judging categories except for perceived security/safety. Amazingly, there was a huge drop off to second place, Tel Aviv, who scored 66.0%. However, they did overwhelming take first place in security with 97.8%.
