Exotic Honeymoon Destinations

indonesia.jpgMake no mistake, all honeymoon destinations are not created equal. Depending on you or your spouse’s personality, certain honeymoon destinations may not be ideal. Recently, Modern Bride magazine unveiled its list for the World’s 50 Best Honeymoon Destinations. And to no surprise, typical locales such as Hawaii and numerous Caribbean islands topped the list. However, there were a few unexpected surprises.

Over the last few years, newlyweds have begun ditching the tried and true honeymoon destinations in favor of something that better accommodates their personalities. Gone are the days of just heading to beach to relax, sunbathe, and sip drinks. Couples are now branching out and seeking more exotic, adventurous, and unique honeymoons to destinations that include Bali, Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica.

Costa Rica, Central America

Costa Rica, located in Central America, is increasingly becoming one of the most popular honeymoon destinations in the world - reason being that Costa Rica has something for all types of honeymooners. A typical Costa Rican honeymoon would include visiting its beautiful beaches, touring active volcanoes followed by relaxing volcanic mud massages, and adventurous rainforest tours.

Punta Cana, Costa Rica

Punta Cana is becoming one of the Carribbean’s top honeymoon destinations. Located on the Dominican Republic Island, Punta Cana is known for its spectacular beaches, clear waters, and white sands.

Bali, Indonesia

Bali, a tropical Indonesian Island, is one of the most romantic honeymoon destinations in East Asia. Bali is the ultimate honeymoon experience for couples seeking romance and intimacy. Couples can choose to stay in private villas in Bali that have tropical gardens, private swimming pools, and a well trained house staff including a maids and cooks.
